It was 4 years ago, in 2011 when we visited Montenegro. And only now I remind that I want to write a post about campsites in this amazing country of blue water, mountains, tasty wine and stunning views. We spent two weeks in Montenegro, sleeping in different campsites and I wrote down notes about each and every campsite we have stayed or seen.
So if you are dreaming about spending your summer in Montenegro and exploring this country by your caravan or motorhome, or if you are a fun of sleeping in a tent - this post is especially for you.
Keep in mind that all information provided below is actual for 2011 year, but still believe it will be helpful anyway as I think nothing changes a lot. If you notice some changes please be so kind to inform me.

Very good sanitary facilities - toilets and showers with hot water, place for washing clothes and dishes.
Electricity is available. Olive trees.
A lot of restaurants nearby.

Prices: adult 2 euro, auto 2.50 euro, tent 2 euro, tax per person per day 0.6 euro.

Two very good sanitary facilities (toilets and showers)
Electricity is available. A lot of shadow pitches.
Cities nearby:Petrovac, Buljarica.
Prices: adult 2 euro, auto 2 euro, tent 2 euro, tax per person per day 1 euro.
Our own opinion: Good camping not far away from big beach, new toilet facilities, a lot of shadow pitches.
- Camping Naluka, Kotor

Description: Beach, good for children but with very dirty water - 20 meters.
Not bad sanitary facilities - toilets and showers (only cold water)
Electricity is available.
Situated along the road and near the river. A lot of shadow pitches.
Cities nearby: Kotor, Perast.
Prices (in euro):adult 4 euro, tent 3.50 euro, motorbike 2 euro, auto 2.50 euro, mobile home 8 euro, electricity 3 euro
Our own opinion:: good clean well-groomed camping. Beach is not good for us (sandy beach with not very clear water. Very small depth of the water.) The most expensive camping in Montenegro we've ever been. However, it is situated near one of the most beautiful places in Montenegro - Kotor bay. - Camping Crvena Glavica, Sveti Stefan

Description: Beach (rocky) - 100 meters.
Good big camping with beautiful places situated near Sveti Stefan and famous beach Milocer.
Sanitary facilities are very old and in bad condition. Only cold water in showers.
Electricity is available.
Cities nearby: Sveti Stefan,Budva, Becici.
Price for 2 adults and auto: 10 euro.
Our own opinion: everything is good except sanitary facilities.
- Camping Begovic, Luštica

Description: Situated in the marvelous peninsula Luštica this camping is perfect place for those who want to find wonderful rock beach, clear water and do snorkeling/diving.
Beach (very rocky) - 20 meters.
Very good but rocky beach with clear water. Good place for diving.
New toilets. Showers with only cold water.
No electricity. All pitches are in shadow.
Price per person: 5 euro.

Our own opinion : one of the best beach, in our opinion, near the camp. Camping is good, very nice shadow. Minuses - cold water in shower and no electricity.
- Camping Ivan Do, Zabljak, Durmitor

Description: Camping situated near the National park Durmitor. From here it is very convenient to start some of the treks to the Durmitor (Bobotov Kuk, Ice Cave, Crno Lake etc.). Camping is big, no shadow pitches.
Sanitary facilities are rather new. Showers with hot water.
Electricity is available on some places.
Cities nearby: Žabljak
Prices : Adult - 2 euro, Auto - 1 euro, Tent - 2 euro, Tax per person per day - 0.50 euro
Our own opinion: Good camping for those who are planning to visit Durmitor National Park. Very nice nature around.
- Camping Tropicana Beach, Ulcinj

Price for 2 persons and a car 10 euro.

Our own opinion: Very small and expensive.
- Camping Tomi, Ulcinj

Description: Toilets are quite old. Some pitches are in shadow.
Cities nearby: Ulcinj.
Our own opinion: Look at it and decide to go further. Don't want to stay there.
- Camping Avala, Budva

Description: Beach in 500 meters.
Very old awful sanitary facilities. Showers with cold water.
Electricity is available.
Situated along the road. Some shadow pitches. Mobile homes (very old and in bad condition) are available for rent.

Price for 2 adults and auto: 10 euro
Our own opinion: We were tired to seek for good camping near Budva. It's not as easy, as it may seem, to find a nice one near Budva. This was the best from the worthiest.
- Camping Buljarica, Petrovac

Description: Beach (stony pebble) is in 10 meters. There are some pitches with sea view.
Toilets are in awful condition. Showers are only with cold water are also in awful conditions.
Electricity is available. Some shadow pitches.
A lot of restaurants nearby.
Cities nearby: Petrovac.
Prices: adult 2 euro, auto 2 euro, tent 2 euro, tax per person per day 1 euro.
Our own opinion: One of the worthiest camping we have ever been. Quite good big beach just in few steps from camping is the only plus of this camping. Not far away from the sea, there is a camping Maslina - new and very cosy. Recommend you to stay there.
- Camping Anton, Budva

Description: Situated in the town. Very very small. It is hard to find a place for a car. (Later we found web site where it was written that they have beautiful large field with grass for tents. We didn't see it, maybe they hide it somewhere...)
Old mobile-homes are available for rent (minimum 10 days price in August 2011 about 200 euro per 10 days).
We didn't find sanitary facilities and electricity too.
Camping situated in 500 meters from beach, 700 meters from Old Town in Budva and 200 meters from bus station.
Cities nearby: Budva, Becici.
Prices: adult 3 euro, tent 4 euro, auto 3 euro, tax per person per day 1 euro
Our own opinion: it seems to us that it is impossible to stay there...
